Branching out  into high end brands again, Lancome was another label that a just felt was overpriced for the product line. The Lancome Midnight Roses Fall 2012 Colour Collection is up my ally, I find it hard to NOT spend too much during the fall on makeup in general every year so I only got 1 item. Blushing Highlighter Illuminating Powder in 001 Moonlight Rose 0.18 oz $48CAN on Lancome online and at select Shoppers Drug Marts (where I got mine). Yes the price is very much high end. But here's a kicker it seems to be a Europe and Canada exclusive product as it's not listed on the US site. It's Limited edition but I'm hoping they make it permanent in the range and add more shades and here is the why!

Hello Gorgeous! For those that love the new tri-blend powder that are coming out. Estee Lauder Illuminating Powder Gelee 0.17 oz $40US, Givenchy Poudre Bonne Mine Healthy Glow Powder 0.24 oz $50US/$55CAN and MAC's Extra Dimension Skinfinish 0.31 oz $29US/$34CAN should ring a bell for you here. This is a new contender into the formula (also made in Italy as the rest).

001 Moonlight Rose is a true highlighter as you can get compared to the other product ranges. The colour is a light almost white pink on the skin that gives a healthy glow. The texture however is super fin milled. The particle size is 2/3 of the Estee Lauder Illuminating Powder Gelee and MAC's Extra Dimension Skinfinish but similar to theBalm Mary Lou-manizer.

Wear:

It honestly was still there after 16 hours the dewiness although slightly faded  by the end.

Packaging:

Sleek size glossy finish black plastic compact that has a full mirror. The brush is floppy and hard to work with but in a pinch you can used it by gripping the base of the hairs instead of the handle to make it more dense while applying the powder.

Verdict:

This is really tied for me in terms of how much I love this shade with Guerlain Parure De Nuit as the Parure De Nuit is a glow powder while Moonlight Rose is a illuminating shimmer.
